About Angels Den
Angels Den is a UK-focused, sector-agnostic angel investment platform and syndicate. We work with founders and investors across the pre-seed, seed and Series A stages, helping strong early-stage companies move through a structured process of investor engagement and due diligence.
The team combines experienced investors, founder relationships, and modern internal systems to create better deal flow and a more thoughtful experience for both founders and investors.
The opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-led person to join Angels Den in an Investor Relation role.
This opportunity could suit someone early in their career who is looking to build experience in investor relations, venture, and angel investing, as well as someone with more experience who can contribute with greater independence from the outset. The level of responsibility will be shaped around the successful candidate’s background, strengths, and ambitions.
You will work with investors, founders, and the wider Angels Den team to strengthen relationships, support investor engagement, and help connect the right investors with relevant early-stage opportunities.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building rapport, creating momentum, and contributing to initiatives that help shape the next generation of angel investing.

What you will work on
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Supporting investor engagement through conversations, events, DDQ sessions, and showcases.
- Developing an understanding of investor preferences, including sector, stage, geography, experience, and typical cheque size.
- Helping identify relevant investor-to-opportunity matches.
- Supporting investor-facing content, updates, events, webinars, and promotional activity.
- Supporting follow-up and relationship activity across the investor community.
What we are looking for
You are likely to do well in this role if you have:
- A proactive, self-starting attitude and the energy to move work forward.
- A natural ability to build rapport and develop trusted relationships.
- Confidence speaking with investors, founders, and other members of the early-stage ecosystem.
- Comfort supporting events, content, and investor-facing activity.
- Good judgement, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.
- Commercial awareness and curiosity about businesses, founders, and investing.
Previous investor-relations experience is not required. We are open to candidates at different stages, including people entering the field for the first time and experienced professionals looking for a broader opportunity. We will place greater weight on energy, curiosity, initiative, and relationship-building potential than on a conventional career path or exact job title.

Relevant experience may include fundraising, partnerships, business development, community building, private markets, venture, events, sales, or founder-facing work.
What you should achieve in your first three months
Your initial objectives will be tailored to your level of experience, but may include:
- Developing a strong understanding of how Angels Den works with founders and investors.
- Becoming familiar with the investor network, current opportunities, and investor engagement process.
- Supporting investor conversations, events, DDQ sessions, or showcases.
- Contributing practical ideas and execution to at least one investor-focused initiative.
- Demonstrating that you can build trust, follow through consistently, and create meaningful engagement.
Longer-term opportunity
Angels Den offers the opportunity to build experience across investing, relationships, and entrepreneurship. Previous members of the team have gone on to start companies, work in VC, and build their own businesses and communities.
