Position: Investor Relations Associate

Location: London (In-office, 5 days a week)

About the Role:

This established and rapidly growing asset management firm is seeking a bright, driven, and detail-oriented Investor Relations Associate. The successful candidate will join a lean, highly collaborative global Investor Relations and Business Development team distributed across key financial hubs in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders across Business Development, Fund Accounting, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing Materials, Reporting, and Due Diligence:

  • Update marketing collateral: Maintain and refresh monthly presentations, monthly/quarterly investor commentaries, monthly risk reports, factsheets, and ad-hoc presentations across an extensive suite of investment products.
  • Manage data rooms: Regularly update the firm’s virtual data room with the most recently approved marketing and reporting materials.
  • Execute investor DDQs: Complete bespoke investor Operational and Investment Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) in line with approved knowledge bases, collaborating with internal content owners to draft new Q&A content.
  • Maintain core templates: Update firm and fund-level template DDQs, working closely with subject matter experts and securing final Legal & Compliance approvals.
  • Ensure compliance gatekeeping: Partner with the Legal & Compliance team to guarantee all investor-facing materials feature appropriate supporting documentation and disclaimers prior to distribution.
  • Support investor meetings: Participate in investor Operational Due Diligence (ODD) meetings to capture detailed notes and manage subsequent deliverables or follow-up requests.
  • Execute ad-hoc projects: Support the broader Investor Relations and Business Development teams with special projects and data requests as required.

Investor Transactions and Operations:

  • Onboard prospective investors: Distribution of fund-related documentation to prospective allocators and diligently update the CRM system to reflect the upcoming capital pipeline.
  • Support trade processing: Assist with the administrative workflow and processing of investor subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions for external-facing funds.
  • Liaise with external parties: Coordinate closely with the firm's external fund administrator to secure full, compliant documentation for existing and prospective investor accounts.
  • Reconcile investor data: Maintain and reconcile accurate internal investor data to track all pending and finalised capital activity.
  • Review legal documentation: Display a clear understanding of legal fund documentation, including Subscription Agreements, Redemption Notices, and Transfer Documents.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Project Management: Proven ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and prioritize workflows in a fast-paced, institutional environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external fund administrators alike.
  • Autonomy and Initiative: Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to manage tasks and projects independently from start to finish.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing priorities and evolving operational workflows.
  • Tech Savvy: A strong interest in leveraging and advancing technological initiatives to streamline internal IR processes.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical capabilities paired with an exceptional, zero-error attention to detail.
  • Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Systems Experience: Prior experience utilising industry-standard investor relations CRM platforms (e.g., Backstop, Salesforce, or similar) is highly advantageous.
