An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and highly organised Investor Relations Associate to join a leading strategic investor communications business and asset management boutique. The role offers significant exposure to wealth managers, fund managers, boards, and investors across the UK investment management industry.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible, client-facing role focused on delivering investor relations programmes for investment trust clients. You'll be responsible for managing communications strategies, coordinating investor engagement initiatives, analysing data, producing reports, and helping clients strengthen relationships with their shareholder base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute tailored investor relations programmes for investment trust clients.
- Develop and deliver communications strategies, including research notes, results communications, portfolio updates, and other shareholder engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients, investor relations, sales, and research teams.
- Coordinate and execute roadshows, capital markets days, investor lunches, webinars, group calls, and other investor events.
- Manage reporting deadlines and prepare quarterly board and client reports.
- Analyse investor engagement data, including CRM activity, mailing lists, webinar attendance, readership metrics, and share register analysis.
- Identify, collect, and report on key data points to provide actionable insights to clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with wealth managers and investors across the UK.
- Gather investor feedback via email and telephone and provide meaningful reporting and recommendations.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for client and investor enquiries.

About You
- Experience within asset management, wealth management, investor relations
- Strong understanding of investment trusts, closed-ended funds, or the wider investment management industry.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Confident engaging with investors, boards, wealth managers, and other senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable analysing data and producing client-facing reports and insights.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
- Genuine interest in financial markets and investment products.
