Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 + Bonus (DOE)

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist advisory business, supporting innovative healthcare and life sciences companies as they raise investment.
Working closely with clients, partners and campaign teams, you'll build relationships, identify opportunities and help connect businesses with the right investors, while supporting the successful delivery of fundraising campaigns.
We're looking for a commercially minded, relationship-focused individual with experience in investor relations, business development, account management, consultancy, client success or another commercial role within the life sciences, healthcare or digital health sector.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify and prioritise investor engagement opportunities across live fundraising campaigns.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with investors, clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Follow up investor enquiries and convert interest into meaningful conversations.
- Coordinate activity across multiple fundraising campaigns, ensuring clear plans, priorities and deadlines are maintained.
- Communicate confidently with clients, providing updates and helping campaigns remain focused and on track.
- Support targeted investor communications and marketing activity.
- Use CRM data, market intelligence and campaign insight to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity pipelines and campaign reporting.
- Assist in preparing high-quality investor presentations, communications and supporting documentation.
- Share market insight, investor feedback and sector intelligence to help strengthen future campaigns and Oyster's profile within the healthcare investment community.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Commercially minded with a passion for building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in business development, account management, client success, consultancy, project delivery or a similar commercial, client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of or experience within the life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology or digital health sectors.
- Able to understand complex healthcare and commercial concepts and communicate them clearly and confidently.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commercially aware and analytical, using data and insight to support decision-making.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records and pipelines.
- Proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with a self-motivated approach.
- A confident ambassador who represents the business professionally.
- Based within commuting distance of Manchester city centre and happy to work from the office on a regular hybrid basis.
Desirable
- Experience in investor relations, fundraising, venture capital, private equity, corporate finance or transaction support.
- Experience working within healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, medtech or digital health organisations.
- Experience coordinating commercial projects, campaigns or multiple stakeholder workstreams.
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
- Experience within a professional services, consultancy or advisory business.
- Degree qualified, ideally in a scientific, healthcare or business-related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- An interest in AI tools and technology-enabled ways of working.

If you've developed strong commercial, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills within the life sciences, healthcare or digital health sectors, we'd love to hear from you. We value curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships just as highly as direct investor relations experience.

Success in this role is about building trusted relationships, creating momentum and helping innovative businesses connect with the right investors.
Over time, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Oyster's services, sectors and investor network.
- Build confidence managing multiple fundraising campaigns simultaneously.
- Deliver structured, proactive investor outreach and follow-up activity.
- Turn market insight and investor engagement into meaningful commercial opportunities.
- Build lasting relationships with investors, clients and colleagues.
- Contribute ideas that improve campaign performance and strengthen Oyster's reputation within the healthcare investment community.
Ultimately, success will be measured by the quality of investor engagement, effective campaign delivery and your contribution to helping clients achieve successful fundraising outcomes.
