THE OPPORTUNITY
Accellency is looking for an Investor Relations & Capital Markets Consultant to join our team in London or Paris at Associate level.
We are a strategic advisory firm specialising in Investor Relations and Capital Markets. We advise large listed companies across Europe, leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies on how they position themselves with investors and communicate their strategy, performance and investment proposition.
The role sits at the intersection of Investor Relations, capital markets and private equity, combining financial analysis, strategic thinking and communication.
You will work as part of small project teams alongside Accellency's Partners and senior consultants, with direct exposure to senior client teams including CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Investor Relations, private equity Partners and investment professionals.
The breadth of our client base and assignments provides exposure to different companies, sectors, investment strategies and situations across both public and private markets.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
- Breadth, not repetition. Rather than focusing on one company or one transaction for months on end, you will work across sectors, situations and investment strategies, in both public and private markets.
- Senior exposure from day one. You will work alongside Accellency's Partners and directly with client CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Investor Relations and private equity investment teams.
- Work that carries weight. You will contribute to equity stories, strategic positioning and investor messaging that can shape how investors understand and value a company, combining analytical substance with strategic communication.
- Merit-based progression. High performers can progress quickly towards more senior roles, with progression based on performance rather than tenure.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work on a broad range of strategic Investor Relations assignments across listed companies, private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
