Main Function of the role
We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to support Private Equity data management, reporting and technology initiatives. The primary focus of the role will be to establish greater structure, governance and consistency across the Private Equity data landscape. The role will take ownership of initiatives designed to improve the collection, storage, maintenance, quality, accessibility and reporting of investment, portfolio, fund and platform-level data used across fundraising, investor reporting, analytics and business management processes.
Working closely with IR, Performance & Analytics, Deal Teams, Portfolio Strategy & Solutions and other stakeholders, the role will support the development of a more scalable and controlled data environment, helping establish clear ownership, consistent definitions, robust documentation and a "single source of truth" approach across key datasets.
The role will also play an important part in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled solutions, automation opportunities and reporting technologies to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and enhance data quality across the Private Equity platform. In addition to data-focused responsibilities, the role will provide ongoing support to both Investor Relations and Performance & Analytics workstreams, helping ensure flexibility and stronger alignment across the functions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
