Nuneaton or London | Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid
You'll be based from our Nuneaton or London office, spending an average of 2-3 days per week in the office (minimum of 2 days). Some travel to other H&B locations may be required, along with occasional travel outside the UK.
The Role
Numbers are only part of the Investor Relations story.
The other part is knowing what matters, why it matters and how to communicate it clearly.
As Investor Relations Manager, you'll help shape how Holland & Barrett is understood by shareholders, lenders and other external financial stakeholders.
Working closely with our FP&A and Investor Relations Director, CFO and wider Finance teams, you'll take financial performance, strategy, market insight and our 2030 Plan and turn them into a clear, credible external story.
You'll be close to some important conversations too - preparing senior leaders for shareholder and lender meetings, supporting Board reporting, analysing our peers and the market, and helping shape the messages we take outside the business.
It's a role for someone who is comfortable with the detail, but knows that the real value comes from understanding the story behind it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Help shape H&B's investor narrative, connecting financial performance, strategy and long-term value creation into clear, compelling messages.
- Work closely with FP&A to understand performance, outlook, risks and opportunities - making sure our external communications reflect the agreed Group view.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, updates and analysis for shareholders, banks and lenders, tailoring the story to the audience.
- Prepare the Director of FP&A & Investor Relations and CFO for external meetings, including briefing materials, key messages, anticipated questions and supporting analysis.
- Work with Corporate Communications on financial content for media enquiries, making sure information is accurate, clear and consistent.
- Build a strong understanding of H&B's strategy and 2030 Plan, and translate key developments into relevant external messaging.
- Analyse peers, competitors and market trends, bringing useful outside-in insight to the investor proposition.
- Monitor shareholder and market themes and highlight what matters to senior Finance leaders.
- Support Board reporting, investor engagement and the wider Investor Relations agenda.
- Maintain strong governance around external financial communications, where accuracy, confidentiality and judgement are critical.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
