We are an established provider of apprenticeship and assessment services committed to high standards, inclusivity, and learner success. We are looking for reliable invigilators to join our team to support secure and efficient assessment delivery across a range of qualifications. Role Overview
The invigilator will be responsible for supervising examinations and assessments to ensure compliance with awarding body regulations, maintaining assessment integrity, and providing a calm, professional environment for learners. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are organized, punctual, and comfortable working with diverse groups.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations and assessments in accordance with awarding body and centre procedures.
- Set up assessment rooms, check candidate identity, and distribute materials prior to the start of assessments.
- Supervise candidates throughout the assessment period, ensuring exam conditions are maintained.
- Respond to queries from candidates and report any irregularities or misconduct promptly and accurately.
- Collect, collate, and return completed assessment materials in line with centre procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and any adjustments provided.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of assessment materials at all times.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Excellent punctuality, reliability, and professional demeanour.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A respectful approach when working with learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Requirements
- Previous experience of invigilation or in a regulated assessment environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Basic numeracy and literacy to complete records and incident reports.
- Right to work in the UK (we do not sponsor work permits).
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check where required.
- Availability to work scheduled assessment sessions.
- Own transport or reliable travel arrangements for some venue locations is beneficial.
