Invoicing Administrator - 12-Month Maternity Cover

Head Office | Monday-Friday | 5 Days Office-Based

Are you an organised and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving queries and keeping things running smoothly?

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in ensuring sales and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time, including:

  • Processing and validating weekly sales declarations and investigating discrepancies
  • Raising and processing invoices, including fees and sales incentives
  • Reconciling cash, expenses and card transactions
  • Preparing weekly cash banking and cash management reports
  • Monitoring and processing agreed debt repayment plans
  • Preparing weekly payment proposals
  • Reconciling control accounts and investigating unallocated cash
  • Completing departure statements when operators leave the business
  • Responding to finance and account queries from internal and external contacts
  • Supporting the wider team with reporting, audits and ad hoc finance projects
  • Looking for opportunities to improve processes and make the team's day-to-day work more efficient

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is accurate, organised and confident working to deadlines, with a genuine interest in transactional finance.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in invoicing, accounts administration or transactional finance
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience using an accounting or finance system
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve queries
  • Confidence working independently while being a strong team player
  • A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Experience with MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
