Insight Global Seeking Talented iOS Engineers
Insight Global are seeking talented iOS Engineers on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to help design, build, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Apple's latest technologies.
This position requires 5 days onsite in Birmingham, England (preferred) or London, England for a contract through the end of the year with strong extension potential and is Inside IR35.
About the Role
As an iOS Engineer, you will take ownership of features from design through to release, contributing to the development of industry-leading iPhone and iPad applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive user experiences, integrate backend services, and ensure applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Must-Have Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing iOS mobile applications.
- Expertise with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Deep understanding of Swift concepts including protocols, generics, and functional programming.
- Proficiency with Xcode for development, debugging, and performance optimisation.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, JSON data, and third-party platforms.
- Experience writing automated tests using XCTest and XCUI.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong understanding of iOS architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
- Solid knowledge of software design principles including Dependency Injection, modularity, and separation of concerns.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to take ownership of features and work independently.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with modern iOS technologies.
