iOS Mobile Engineer

📍 Remote | USA, UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden
💰 Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum + potential equity/package (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity

We're supporting an innovative technology company building AI-native products designed to transform how people manage communication, organization, workflows, and daily tasks.
The team is developing intelligent assistant technology focused on real-world task completion, long-running workflows, persistent context, and highly reliable AI experiences. Their vision is to create products that help users accomplish more with significantly less effort, making AI genuinely useful in everyday life.

This is an opportunity to join a small, high-performing team where engineering excellence, product quality, and rapid execution are highly valued.

The Role

As an iOS Mobile Engineer, you will own and shape the mobile experience of a sophisticated AI-powered application.

This is not a traditional mobile development position focused solely on building interfaces. You will play a key role in defining how AI interactions feel on mobile, ensuring experiences are intuitive, performant, reliable, and trustworthy.

Working closely with backend and machine learning engineers, you will contribute to the development of production-grade AI features that users rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities through backend APIs and platform services
  • Design seamless AI interaction patterns, including:
    • Streaming responses
    • Loading states
    • Error handling
    • Retry mechanisms
    • User-friendly fallback experiences
  • Optimize application performance, memory consumption, responsiveness, and battery efficiency
  • Implement analytics and feedback mechanisms to support AI evaluation and product improvements
  • Collaborate closely with backend, platform, and machine learning teams on API design and product behavior
  • Maintain high standards of application quality, stability, testing, and production readiness
  • Contribute to architectural and technical decisions that support future growth and scalability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
