The Native team will be working on:

  • Best-in-class onboarding journeys
  • Best in class native experiences
  • UK Sports
  • Bally Casino UK
  • Personalised and localised Gaming experiences
  • Deliver a global and omnichannel data & martech platform from the Product organisation
  • Improve apps monitoring and re-release the apps within the Tech organisation

So, what will you be doing?

As a Mid-level iOS Engineer, you will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of a wide array of iOS and Android Native Applications available in multiple markets. We seek iOS developers who can help enhance our technology and contribute to our vision of creating exciting, configurable, white-labeled, data-driven applications with a stable, structured code base. Providing new & exciting experiences to our customers. Working hybrid with 3 days a week in the Manchester city centre office.

We're looking for a confident mid-level IOS Engineer with the following:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines (Jenkins + Fastlane) and distributed version control systems (preferably Git).
  • Familiarity with writing unit and UI tests and adopting TDD practices.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, REST, and interfacing iOS applications with server-side APIs.
  • Understanding of material design principles and SOLID principles.
  • Able to collaborate with other iOS developers, testers, and teams working on front-end and back-end tasks.
  • Developed and maintain iOS applications for online platforms.

Skills & Behaviours:

  • At least three years of experience developing iOS applications in Swift.
  • Proficiency in SwiftUI and Combine, or a strong willingness to learn and apply these technologies.
  • Familiarity with WebKit/WKWebView integration into apps and designing efficient two-way bridges between apps and dynamic web pages.
  • Ability to prototype new concepts and deliver responsive interfaces using Auto Layout, Core Animation, and view hierarchy management.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and parallel programming fundamentals.
  • Demonstrable ability to debug, profile, and resolve application issues.
