Role - iOS Engineer
Location: Burgess Hill, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension or permanent opportunity
Rate: £280/day inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS applications used by millions of cardholders worldwide.
- Build new features using Swift, UIKit, and MVVM.
- Integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Identify and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and engineers in a distributed team.
- Work with Objective-C legacy code and modern iOS development practices.

- Strong experience developing iOS applications.
- Swift and UIKit.
- MVVM and functional programming patterns.
- REST APIs and backend integration.
- Unit and integration testing using XCTest/XCUITest.
- CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, xcodebuild, and Tuist.
- Performance analysis and optimization.
- Objective-C legacy code experience.
- Git and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
