We're working with one of the world's most recognised global payments and financial services organisations to find an experienced iOS Engineer to help shape mobile experiences used by tens of millions of customers worldwide.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team building products at incredible scale, while enjoying the ownership, collaboration, and fast pace typically associated with smaller technology teams.

The Role

As an iOS Engineer, you'll work alongside product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to build and enhance customer-facing mobile applications. We're looking for someone who loves solving complex technical problems, takes pride in writing clean and maintainable code, and is passionate about creating outstanding user experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining native iOS applications used by millions of customers globally.
  • Delivering new features and continually improving existing functionality.
  • Writing high-quality, maintainable code and contributing to engineering best practices.
  • Investigating, debugging, and resolving production issues.
  • Optimising application performance and user experience.
  • Working with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tooling.
  • Collaborating with globally distributed teams to solve complex business and technical challenges.
  • Supporting the evolution of existing Objective-C codebases while helping drive modernisation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
  • Proficiency in Swift and exposure to Objective-C.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of performance analysis and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience with build tools and CI/CD technologies such as Tuist, xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and modern mobile architecture patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an environment where innovation and experimentation are encouraged.
  • Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
