IoT Engineer / Full Stack Developer

Remote (UK), travel to site in Midlands twice a month.
Competitive Salary + Expenses & Global Travel Opportunities

Are you an Engineer who loves solving real-world problems with software?
We are partnering with a globally recognised engineering and technology organisation that is transforming how critical transport assets are monitored, maintained and optimised.
This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit, highly respected IoT & Smart Data team where you will have the freedom to work across the entire technology stack, influence global projects and see your work make a measurable operational impact.

What We Are Looking For

We are interested in Engineers who can demonstrate they have built, delivered and owned meaningful technical projects.
You might come from transport, industrial automation, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, energy or another engineering-led environment.

The Role

As an IoT Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software, connectivity, cloud technologies and engineering systems.
One day you might be on-site connecting to equipment, understanding customer requirements and investigating data streams. The next, you could be developing cloud-based applications, improving system performance or helping deploy scalable IoT solutions for global projects.
This is a hands-on role that combines practical engineering awareness with strong software development capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
