Are you an experienced Instrumentation, Controls, Automation, or Industrial Connectivity Specialist seeking a role where you can boost your yearly earnings significantly through overtime?
Do you want a hands-on, varied role covering everything from selecting, configuring, and wiring industrial sensors to deploying IoT gateways and troubleshooting hardware on machinery in real manufacturing environments?
This company is an innovative engineering business at the forefront of sensor, industrial IoT, and edge technology, dedicated to connecting physical equipment on factory floors directly into cloud-based platforms.
On offer is the chance to join a growing team where you will lead the hardware, sensor, and edge device side of their IoT systems. You will evaluate and install sensors (temperature, vibration, pressure, flow, condition monitoring), configure IoT gateways, troubleshoot industrial protocols (Modbus, MQTT, RS-485), and collaborate closely with software developers to ensure seamless data flow from device to cloud.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
