Law IP Paralegal
Location: London
Hours: 37.5
The Position
The focus of the role is to support the law team on core litigation/courts tasks and contractual document support. There is also some significant project work the business is undertaking for the UPC rollout which this role will play a part in working on. Our practice contains work across all types of IP (with focus on patents, trade marks and copyright), IT and data protection areas across a broad and diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the law team with core litigation and court-related tasks across intellectual property matters
- Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and managing contractual documents
- Contribute to project work related to the UPC (Unified Patent Court) rollout
- Provide administrative and legal support across patent, trade mark, and copyright cases
- Collaborate closely with patent and trade mark attorneys across multiple European offices
- Help manage and organise case files, legal documentation, and deadlines
- Liaise with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth delivery of legal services
- Support work involving IT law and data protection matters where required
- Maintain high standards of client service and responsiveness in all interactions
- Build strong working relationships and contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment

The role will suit someone with some initial experience in a Paralegal or legal support role who is looking to forge a career within the IP field. It would be desirable if you had experience in a commercial or corporate client environment with a legal qualification up to LPC level.
