Job Overview
An accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Public Health Wales) in order to provide a safe and efficient service providing triage information and appropriate support.
The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Infection Prevention and Decontamination specialist nursing teams and other health professionals.
- The post holder will be responsible for the guidance and direction of the team dealing with appropriate day-to-day issues to oversee the smooth running of the department and providing support to the service.
- The post holder will also be responsible for coordinating the Strategic Groups across the Health Board (inc. Medical Consultants/External experts from WG etc.). This may also entail coordinating whole Welsh coordination.
To provide a comprehensive, high quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Specialist Service Managers, specialist nursing teams and other health professionals.
To co-ordinate and maintain arrangements to facilitate the Strategic Experts Groups.
To maintain the office organisation and triage calls into the Health Economy Specialist Service i.e. Infection Prevention.
Main duties of the job

- This may also entail coordinating whole Welsh coordination.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
Provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administrative service to patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Public Health Wales) to provide a safe and efficient service through the sharing of triage information and appropriate support. The office holder will ensure that a comprehensive, high standard specialist administrative and secretarial service is provided to Matron, specialist nursing teams and other professionals.
- The office holder will be responsible for steering and guiding the team to handle daily matters to oversee the smooth running of the department and provide support to the service.
- The office holder will also be responsible for the co-ordination of the SNGs throughout the Health Board (including. Medical Consultants/External experts from Welsh Government etc). This can also include coordinating coordination across Wales.
- Provides high quality, comprehensive specialist administrative and secretarial service to Clinical Services Managers, specialist nursing teams and other professionals.
- Coordinate and maintain arrangements to facilitate the work of the Strategic Expert Groups.
- Conduct the office's triage and organisational calls to the Health Economy Specialist Service e.g. Infection Prevention.
