SUBJECT TO CONTRACT AWARD
At Shaw Trust, we believe everyone has the right to live a decent and dignified life and the opportunity for rewarding work. We are a social purpose organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility.
For us, being part of the solution is about creating the conditions for this to happen, advocating for and delivering services that make a real difference. Working in partnership, not competition, we are part of an ecosystem of purpose-led organisations striving for a fairer, more equal society centred on opportunity for all.
Are you passionate about transforming lives through employment, inclusion and wellbeing? Do you have the strategic leadership skills to develop partnerships, drive performance and ensure excellent service delivery across a diverse network of delivery partners delivering IPS services?
We're looking for an experienced and driven IPS Supply Chain Manager to join our team, subject to the successful award of a new contract in West Yorkshire covering Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Kirklees.
About The Role
As an IPS Supply Chain Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of Shaw Trust's delivery partner network, ensuring high-quality Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services are delivered consistently across the contract area and achieve excellent employment outcomes for participants.
Working alongside the Regional Operations Manager, Service Manager and wider leadership team, you will lead supply chain performance, quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement activities across the contract. You will support delivery partners to embed IPS principles, the six phases of IPS support, prepare for internal and external Fidelity Reviews and continuously improve service quality and participant outcomes.
You will play a key role in developing strong relationships with delivery partners, community organisations, specialist providers and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative one-service approach that supports service excellence and innovation.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the quality and effectiveness of IPS delivery across West Yorkshire, ensuring participants receive high-quality support that enables them to achieve and sustain meaningful employment, improve wellbeing and achieve positive life outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
