There has never been a more exciting time to join our Trust. You will be part of delivering a significant transformation to the way services are accessed and delivered. We are looking for experienced Band 6 Nurses, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists to join our expanding team.
The New Service Offers
- A single referral point for GPs and other professionals
- A 24-hour telephone advice and support for people who use services and carers to be able to self-refer
- More responsive crisis services with improved experiences for people who use services, carers, and professionals
Our aim is to provide people with mental health issues access to the support they need at the right time, with positive outcomes.
The service is 24/7, but as Triage Practitioner, you will be working shift patterns within our teams based in Accrington at The Mount. This will include referral screening, triaging, signposting, and supporting the call handlers and administrators team, who provide information and support over the telephone.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
