Junior Editor and Post-Production Technician
Mae Carlam Cyf yn chwilio am Is-olygydd a Thechnegydd ôl-gynhyrchu. Rydym yn chwilio am berson egnïol, chreadigol a thechnolegol i ymuno â’r tîm ôl-gynhyrchu yn ein swyddfa yng Nghaerfyrddin. Fel Is-olygydd a thechnegydd ôl-gynhyrchydd, byddwch yn gyfrifol am gynorthwyo’r tîm technoleg trwy baratoi prosiectau, rheoli deunydd a data, golygu prosiectau aml blatfform atodol ac yn cefnogi’r tîm golygu ehangach ar brosiectiau amrywiol. Rydym yn chwilio am rywun sy’n hapus i weithio i fel aelod o dîm, ac sydd hefyd yn awyddus ac yn frwdfrydig i ddatblygu eu sgiliau gydag Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve ac yr Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
Sgiliau Hanfodol:
- Profiad o weithio ar Avid Media Composer a Davinci Resolve
- Gweithio o frîff ac o fewn amserlen dynn.
- Profiad o fewnforio, cysoni sain a fideo, trefnu ffeiliau prosiect, a gwneud copïau wrth gefn (backup) o ddeunydd fideo yn ddiogel.
- Dealltwriaeth Technoleg: Gwybodaeth dda e.e.. cyfrifiaduron, rhwydweithio a thrin data.
- Dealldwriaeth o formatiau camera (RAW, Log...)
- Dealltwriaeth o wahanol codecs fideo, cyfraddau ffrâm (frame rates), cymarebau agwedd (aspect ratios), a gosodiadau allforio ar gyfer gwahanol lwyfannau (e.g., cyfryngau cymdeithasol yn erbyn darlledu).

- Mae’r gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg yn ddefnyddiol i’r swydd hon.
- Dealltwriaeth gychwynnol o adeiladu naratif.
- Sgiliau cymysgu sain sylfaenol, megis cael gwared ar sŵn cefndir neu gydbwyso lefelau deialog gan ddefnyddio offer fel Adobe Audition.
- Llygad sylfaenol ar gyfer cydbwyso amlygiad (exposure) a pharu lliwiau ar draws gwahanol onglau camera.

Carlam is looking for a Junior Editor and Post-Production Technician. We are looking for an energetic, creative, and tech-savvy person to join the post-production team in our Carmarthen office. As a Junior Editor and post-production technician, you will be responsible for assisting the technology team by preparing projects, managing material and data, editing supplementary multi-platform projects, and supporting the wider editing team on various projects. We are looking for someone who is happy to work as part of a team, and who is also eager and enthusiastic to develop their skills with Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to import, sync audio and video, organize project files, and securely back up video material.
- Good understanding of information technology - Camera formats, video codecs, and export settings.
Desirable Skills:
- The ability to communicate in Welsh is useful for this role.
- An initial understanding of narrative building.
- Basic audio mixing skills, such as removing background noise or balancing dialogue levels using tools like Adobe Audition.
- A basic eye for exposure balancing and color matching across different camera angles.
Personal Qualities:
- The ability to grasp new concepts easily.
- A hands-on, "can-do" mindset.
- An enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
- The ability to work quickly, under pressure, and to strict deadlines.
Duration: 6 months (Initially)

Salary: To be discussed (Depending on experience)
