We have an exciting opportunity for an iSeries Application Support Consultant to join our team in the UK!

What to expect
- Responsible to develop and support the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Replenishment and Order Fulfilment Systems
- Ability to provide 24/7 application support and application development to our UK iSeries customers
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers which spans many years and enhance their applications and expand the services
- Providing full technical support to customer, including development and programming support to external suppliers
- Opportunity to assist the team leader in future projects through full project life cycle (specification, development, system testing, implementation, and on-going support)
- Collaboratively working with other Getronics teams providing the iSeries customers with technical support, OS & third-party software upgrades, interfaces to dependent services
What we expect from you
- Relevant experience working in a support and development role will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and management
- You will take on full responsibility, with customers at your focus, and the ability to make good judgements
- Ability to take initiative.
- Proven experience of implementing new systems, with ability to understand and maintain/enhancing existing systems
- Strong problem solving skills
- Time managed and organised, you can meet SLA’s that are prescribed and take appropriate action to ensure none of them are exceeded.
- Strong analytical capability
- Experience in the following:
- iSeries email
- iSeries High Availability
- WMS
- SQL and other data extraction tools
- Bar coding/scanning
- RPG Programming (RPG/ILE, CLLE, DDS)
