ISHOP DESI

ISHOP DESI is a UK-based, community-first digital marketplace that connects families with trusted local halal butchers and desi grocery shops. Built to serve Muslim and South Asian communities, the platform ensures convenience without compromising halal standards. Customers can order fresh halal meat and everyday desi groceries online while continuing to support the local independent shops they already rely on. ISHOP DESI strengthens neighbourhood halal businesses by giving them a modern digital presence, rather than replacing them with central warehouses or anonymous supply chains.

Launched with a local-first approach in Luton, the platform is expanding carefully across the UK with a focus on quality, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

Role Description

The Student Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in Luton. The Student Assistant will support daily marketplace operations, including assisting local partner shops with order processing, packaging, and coordination for deliveries or customer pickups.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
