Job Title: Audit & Compliance Officer - ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Benefits: Excellent benefits package
Location: St Albans
Hours: Monday-Friday (1 day a week WFH)

Purpose of the role
We're looking for an experienced Audit & Compliance professional to take day-to-day ownership of the company's Quality and Environmental Management Systems, with a particular focus on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Auditing will be a significant part of the role, typically two to three days each week. You'll work directly with departments across the business, reviewing processes and documentation, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are followed through to completion.

What you'll be doing
- Plan, conduct and document internal departmental audits across ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Review processes and documentation with departments, investigating any queries or areas of non-compliance.
- Produce clear audit reports, identifying findings, improvements and corrective actions.
- Maintain an audit tracker, following actions through and ensuring agreed improvements are implemented.
- Manage non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Maintain audit schedules and support external ISO audits and management review meetings.
- Support risk registers, compliance reporting, policies and wider quality and environmental initiatives.
- Assist with GDPR, environmental reporting, supplier compliance and wider compliance activities.

What we're looking for
- Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Audit, Quality or Compliance.
- Strong practical experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing and organisational skills.
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of the audit process.
- A personable and constructive approach, with the confidence to work with departments across the business and drive improvements.
