ISO/IEC 42001 AI Governance Consultants
Contract / Associate Network | UK | Remote/Hybrid
Indicative rate: £650–£1,250 per day, depending on assignment and experience. Permanent roles possible.
We are building a specialist network of independent consultants to support anticipated client demand around ISO/IEC 42001, AI governance and responsible AI.
We are interested in speaking with consultants who can help organisations move beyond AI policies and establish practical, auditable Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.
Potential assignments may include:
- Conducting ISO/IEC 42001 gap and readiness assessments
- Establishing and implementing an AI Management System
- Creating AI inventories, governance structures and accountability models
- Conducting AI risk and impact assessments
- Developing policies, controls and documented procedures
- Preparing statements of applicability and audit evidence
- Integrating ISO 42001 with ISO 27001 and existing management systems
- Supporting internal audits and certification readiness
- Advising leadership, risk, compliance, data and technology teams
- Aligning governance with the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and related frameworks

We would particularly like to hear from people with:
- Practical ISO/IEC 42001 implementation or audit-readiness experience
- AI governance, responsible AI, model risk or assurance experience
- ISO 27001 implementation or auditing experience
- Experience delivering within regulated or complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder-management and documentation skills
- ISO 42001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor training
Training or certification is valuable, but we are particularly interested in evidence of practical delivery.

This is an expression of interest for our associate consultant network. Specific rates, IR35 status, location and duration will depend on each client assignment.
