About The Role

We are seeking a motivated IT Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in IT, previous administrative or support experience, or recent graduates eager to develop their skills in a professional environment. As an IT Administrator, you will serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance related to IT and website issues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide prompt and effective support to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support, enhance your technical skills, and work within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong enthusiasm for technology and a proactive attitude towards learning. While previous IT experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Recent graduates or individuals with basic IT knowledge and a desire to grow their skills are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly demeanor are essential. Candidates should be comfortable using computers, troubleshooting common issues, and communicating effectively over the phone. A basic understanding of website management or support is a plus, but training will be provided. The role requires a responsible and dependable individual eager to develop their IT expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for IT and website-related queries from users, handling approximately 10 calls per day.
  • Assist users with common IT issues such as password resets, login problems, and access difficulties.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve straightforward technical problems.
  • Respond to website-related questions and assist with minor website support tasks.
  • Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate team members for resolution.
  • Document support requests and solutions accurately to maintain records and facilitate ongoing support.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude while providing excellent customer service.
  • Stay informed about company IT policies, procedures, and updates to ensure compliance and effective support.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance technical knowledge and support skills.
