Role Overview
As IT Administrator, you will join our IT & Data team, taking ownership of end-user support across multiple locations. In this role you’ll provide exceptional levels of support to empower our teams, whilst also managing core IT hardware, including workstations/computers, networking equipment, Wi-Fi, network cabinets, and printers, ensuring a seamless day-to-day experience for everyone across VoCoVo.
Please note, to apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK. This role is hybrid and requires 3 days per week working onsite, this will alternate between our Shipton-under-Wychwood and Cheltenham offices.
What we're looking for
- Excellent customer support skills, you have the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues for end-users.
- A consistently friendly and helpful attitude, with a proactive approach to user support and problem-solving.
- Strong competency in the installation, configuration and ongoing support of Apple laptops, macOS and iOS.
- You bring strong administrative skills within the Google Workspace suite, including user management, application configuration and security settings.
- You have a tech-forward approach and are familiar with online cloud applications and AI systems (Gemini, Gemini Enterprise, Claude).
- Proficiency in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various network and local printers.
- Extensive experience with installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows-based desktop and server operating systems.
- You have a fundamental understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, routing and DNS.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, encompassing user account management, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Active Directory for user setup, permissions management and basic administration tasks.
- Exposure to the configuration, support, maintenance and management of VoIP systems.

"Nice to have" skills
- IT technical qualifications, ITIL knowledge and Windows/Mac certifications would be desirable but are not essential for this role.
What you'll do
- Provide exceptional levels of assistance to users, helping them with their IT issues and questions, ensuring smooth support for users across the major environments and apps in use at VoCoVo.
- Source, maintain and dispatch IT hardware/Laptops/PCs and printers.
- Ensure user set-up/basic configuration and timely provision of new user accounts, changing privileges when user rights need changing, and suspending or removing accounts when users leave.
- Support the local network and provide support for users and IT equipment at multiple locations.
- Ensure the asset list, IT documentation and training information are up to date.
- Assist with network change and upgrade projects, server updates and new server installations.
- Ensure the completion of IT administration tasks and provide best in class support for both users and IT equipment.
What does success look like?
0-6 Months
- You are efficiently managing the distribution of IT equipment for both current and new employees.
- You've maintained and contributed to a high level of user satisfaction with IT support services.
- The effective maintenance of IT hardware and infrastructure.
6+ Months
- You provide seamless user account management services.
- All printing systems operate smoothly and without issues.
- Our IT documentation is up to date and has been elevated by your efforts.

Salary
£32,000 - £38,000
