Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday, 3 on 3 off (6 am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am)

About ESP Global Services

ESP Global Services is a leading global provider of technology support and managed services, delivering critical IT and infrastructure solutions across multiple industries worldwide.

We are seeking Airport Engineers to join our dedicated on-site team at Stansted Airport, supporting passenger processing technologies that are essential to airport and airline operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment where technology availability directly impacts the passenger journey.

About The Role

As an Airport Engineer, you will provide first-line technical support, maintenance and operational assistance for passenger processing systems across the airport estate. You will be responsible for ensuring that passenger check-in, self-service kiosk and automated bag-drop technologies remain fully operational and available to support airport operations.

Working within a dedicated engineering team, you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Support installations and upgrades
  • Manage spare parts inventories
  • Maintain accurate asset records

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular routine and preventative maintenance on IT equipment used for passenger processing, ensuring all systems remain operational and efficient.
  • Conduct floor-walking to monitor the health of airport IT systems, identifying potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Respond to incidents and service requests received via the Global Service Desk, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are adhered to.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to airline host systems, connectivity, and other critical IT components.
  • Maintain excellent communication with both colleagues and the Global Service Desk, providing timely updates on the status of incidents and resolutions.
  • Identify spare parts and raise requests with the Global Service Desk to ensure incident progress is accurately recorded and resolved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Shift Pattern

This role forms part of a dedicated engineering team providing support across a 24x7 airport operation. Candidates must be flexible to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays, as required to maintain service coverage and operational resilience.

Security & Airside Requirements

Due to airport security and airside access requirements, all successful candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining an airport security pass.
