IT Analyst
About the Role
The London Borough of Merton is seeking an IT Analyst to support a broad range of Business Systems within a Local Government environment.
The team that this role sits in currently support a number of Public Ream and Built Environment Systems along with the Council's Street Naming and Numbering Service.
Experience in supporting the following would be preferable:
- ALLOY (Asset Management)
- Convey (Fleet Services Management)
- eVO GMS (LLPG/LSG)
- Exacom Obligations Suite (CIL)
- Idox Cloud (Land & Property, Regulatory Services, Public Protection, HMO)
- LAS ACCESS (Waste Enforcement)
- MAYRISE (Street Works)
- OASIS (MARAC-Domestic Violence)
- PaxQR/QRoutes (Passenger Transport Management)
- RingGo (Cashless Parking)
- Taranto (Parking PCNs and Permits)
- KADOE (DVLA Lookups - Waste Enforcement)
Experience of Street Naming and Numbering, BS 7666, Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG), Local Street Gazetteer (LSG), and associated Gazetteer Management Systems (currently the Council uses eV0 GMS) would be beneficial.

About the Organisation
Merton is currently going through a significant period of transformation, with a number of key projects planned over the coming years and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with relevant skills, experience and energy to support our existing systems and users across departments, whilst also being involved in exciting change projects as part of the council's Digital transformation programme.
This role sits within the Digital Products Team, a supportive and collaborative environment made up of dedicated and professional colleagues. This role sits within a career-graded structure.
About the Role
This is a rewarding and challenging role, working in an ambitious London Borough working to bring real improvements to people's experience of public services.
The ideal candidate will be self-starter and customer focused professional with experience of working in an IT systems support role within a large, complex business service. You will be experienced in analysing, developing and implementing solutions to challenging technical problems, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, participating in projects, and comfortable with communicating at both technical and business levels.

Working Arrangement
The work will be carried out as a hybrid position with an expectation that you will attend the office a minimum of three times a week.
Location
The role is based at the Merton Civic Centre, directly opposite Morden Underground Station (Northern Line). It’s also within a 10-minute walk of Morden Road Tram Stop and close to both Morden South and South Merton railway stations. Wimbledon is also nearby.
