About The Role
The IT Analyst position is a vital role within the organization, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering detailed requirements, and translating these into clear, actionable specifications for IT delivery teams. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs, evaluate existing systems, and recommend technological solutions that support operational efficiency and strategic objectives. Qualifications

Demonstrable ability to work cross-functionally, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across diverse groups is required. Strong written communication skills are necessary to maintain high standards in documentation and reporting. Confidence in critically evaluating information, distinguishing between user requests and underlying needs, and driving clarity is vital. Practical experience with project management methodologies and familiarity with IT systems and applications will be advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to identify, analyze, and document business needs, translating them into detailed application requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, ensuring clarity of scope, objectives, and deliverables with key stakeholders.
- Review and document how end users, business processes, data flows, applications, and devices interconnect to support practical business outcomes.
- Recommend process improvements and technological solutions, utilizing new technology where appropriate or optimizing existing systems.
- Support business initiatives through effective project management, ensuring delivery aligns with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Act as a liaison between departments and IT teams, critically evaluating information from multiple sources and reconciling conflicting data or requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and solutions to ensure clarity and facilitate future reference.
- Assist in testing and validation of new systems or enhancements, ensuring they meet business needs and quality standards.
- Support change management activities by providing insights into system updates and process modifications.
