About the Role
We're partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an IT Analyst for their Manchester based IT Service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in hands-on IT support who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and wants to broaden their technical skills across a modern Microsoft technology environment.
You will act as a key point of contact for employees across the business, delivering high quality technical support both remotely and face-to-face. Working as part of a collaborative IT Service team, you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring excellent service delivery and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support
- Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution
- Supporting desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices and printers
- Administering user accounts and assisting with server-related tasks
- Supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
- Supporting Windows Desktop and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Maintaining accurate documentation and knowledge articles
- Assisting with IT projects and continuous service improvements

Requirements
If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET'S TALK!
- Previous experience in a hands-on IT support role
- Strong customer service or IT service desk skills
- Experience with Active Directory user administration
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage workloads effectively and work to service targets and SLAs
The following skills would be advantageous but not essential:
- Experience within a professional services environment
- Exposure to legal sector applications
- Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical qualifications
- Experience supporting users across multiple office locations
