Total Group International is a leading IT Support provider dedicated to bringing unlimited and trusted support plans to businesses looking to remove the burden of IT issues and help them focus on driving their core business.
About the Role
You will provide exceptional remote and onsite support of Total Group’s customers and ensure all service standards are adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Providing hardware support and installations covering PC, server, networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and disaster recovery.
- Providing software support and installations covering Windows 10, Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365 (support, admin, and migration), AWS, Virtualization Hyper V / VMware.
- Complete customer change requests in line with agreed change management process and SLA’s.
- Progress and action all assigned tickets and ensure actions are fully documented in PSA tool.
- Escalate tickets where necessary to 2nd/3rd Line support.
- Update and create Knowledge Management documentation.

Required Skills
- ITIL knowledge
- Understanding of hardware, software, network, and infrastructure technologies.
- Office 365 support and administration.
- Microsoft Windows 10/11 support and administration.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing 1st/2nd line position, preferably for an MSP.
- Technical certifications advantageous (Microsoft / Cisco / AWS / CompTIA).
- Clean driving license and own car essential due to location.
Desirable Experience
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Connectwise/IT Glue/Continuum/Brightguage
- Watchguard Firewalls
- DUO MFA
- Acronis
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject.
- You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance, you could still be considered for the programme.
- If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application, you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
