IT Architect
Reading | Hybrid - Central Reading – minimum 2 days per week in the office

We’re looking for an experienced IT Architect to join MBNL’s Technology & Information team, working across technology, transformation, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective and aligned to business strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting enterprise, solution and technology architecture across business, application, data and technology
- Developing architecture principles, standards and governance
- Providing architecture assurance and challenging solution designs
- Supporting technology strategy, roadmaps and investment decisions
- Assessing technology options, risks, costs and business value
- Working with suppliers and outsourced delivery partners
- Partnering with Cyber Security, Data, Digital, Operations and Delivery teams
- Presenting recommendations and influencing senior stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

- Experience in Enterprise, Solution or Technology Architecture
- Strong knowledge of cloud, APIs, integration, data and modern technology patterns
- Experience with architecture governance and technical assurance
- Strong stakeholder, influencing and communication skills
- Experience working with suppliers and complex delivery environments
Desirable:
- TOGAF/BCS or equivalent
- cloud certifications
- ITIL/security qualifications
- experience in telecoms, OSS/BSS, infrastructure or network operations.
