WE'RE HIRING – IT ASSET DISPOSAL DRIVER & TECHNICIAN
FLP Solutions Ltd is looking for an IT Asset Disposal Driver & Technician to join our growing ITAD team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining UK-wide driving, customer collections and IT equipment processing in our warehouse.
WHEN YOU'RE ON THE ROAD...
You will travel nationwide collecting redundant IT equipment from businesses, schools, charities and other organisations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving FLP vehicles throughout the UK
- Collecting redundant IT equipment from customer sites
- Loading and unloading equipment safely
- Handling PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, servers, switches and other IT equipment
- Representing FLP professionally when dealing with customers
- Completing collection paperwork and following collection procedures
- Scanning and tracking equipment
- Ensuring equipment is transported safely back to our warehouse
- Overnight stays may occasionally be required for longer-distance collections
WHEN YOU'RE IN THE WAREHOUSE...
When you're not out collecting, you'll be working as part of our ITAD processing team.

THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE...
The role involves regular lifting and moving of IT equipment, including PCs, monitors, printers, servers and other larger items.
You will need to be comfortable with:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving equipment around the warehouse
- Working on your feet
- Handling heavier IT equipment safely
- Getting stuck in and helping wherever needed
THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR...
We're looking for someone who is:
- A confident and responsible driver
- Comfortable driving long distances throughout the UK
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Professional and friendly when dealing with customers
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Interested in IT, technology and electronics
- Practical and happy getting hands-on with equipment
- Willing to learn and develop their ITAD knowledge

Previous experience in ITAD, IT recycling, IT equipment processing, warehouse work, logistics or a similar environment would be an advantage but not essential.
A genuine interest in IT and technology is a big plus.
MORE THAN JUST A DRIVING JOB...
This is not simply a delivery or driving role.
You'll be involved in the full ITAD process from collecting equipment from customers across the UK, through to processing, testing, data destruction, reuse and recycling back at our facility.
Every day can be different, and there will be opportunities to learn more about IT equipment, data destruction and the wider ITAD industry.
Based: Middlewich, Cheshire
