We are recruiting for an IT Asset Engineer to join our on-site Assets team in Brighton.
This role is key to ensuring our IT equipment is refurbished, repaired, prepared and redeployed to the highest standards, helping colleagues receive reliable technology when they need it. You'll play an important role in reducing waste, improving stock availability, maintaining compliance and supporting excellent customer service across the organisation.
We're looking for someone with strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Asset Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the refurbishment, repair, preparation and redeployment of IT equipment, ensuring our colleagues receive secure, reliable and fully functional devices. You will work closely with the wider Digital and IT teams to support asset management, stock control and equipment lifecycle processes.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience repairing, refurbishing and troubleshooting IT equipment, including laptops, smartphones and other end-user devices.
- Experience maintaining accurate records within an ITSM, ITAM, inventory or stock management system.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, including equipment deployment, recovery, refurbishment and disposal processes.
- Ability to diagnose hardware issues, replace faulty components and return equipment to service safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of security, compliance and quality standards when handling IT assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret and analyse data to support decision making and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy operational environment.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality services and improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management tools, ITIL practices or ISO27001 standards would be advantageous.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
