IT Asset Management - IT Asset Manager - Asset Discovery & Configuration Management Database Analyst (CMDB Analyst) — 3 Month Contract, outside IR35 £400-450 per day
Looking for an ITAM/CMDB specialist to jump into a cyber and IT governance improvement programme and get the asset data straight. This is a hands-on, remote contract for someone who's comfortable pulling messy, multi-source asset data into shape.
You'll be building and validating a clean technology asset inventory across multiple sites, tightening up CMDB records, reconciling discrepancies between discovery platforms and service management systems, and supporting audit remediation and cyber risk work along the way. Expect a good mix of hands-on data analysis and stakeholder coordination across IT, Infrastructure, Security and site teams.

Essential skills:
- Solid ITAM, Asset Discovery, CMDB or Configuration Management experience
- Comfortable working in ServiceNow or a similar enterprise service management platform
- Strong reconciliation and data quality analysis chops — big datasets, Excel, reporting tools
- Good grasp of IT infrastructure — servers, endpoints, cloud, network assets
- Able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and locations
- Sharp analytical/problem-solving skills, clear communicator

Nice to have:
- Axonius or similar discovery tooling
- CMDB design/service mapping know-how
- API integration experience
- Audit/governance background
- ITIL asset & config management
- Time spent in a regulated or multinational environment
Global business, fully remote, initial 3 months with potential to extend.
