Job Description

Our goal is to bring the widest benefits to society through enabling the analysis of anything, by anyone, anywhere. The company has developed a new generation of nanopore-based sensing technology for faster, information rich, accessible and affordable molecular analysis.

The first application is DNA/RNA sequencing, and the technology is in development for the analysis of other types of molecules including proteins. The technology is used to understand and characterise the biology of humans and diseases such as cancer, plants, animals, bacteria, viruses, and whole environments.

With a thriving culture of ambition and strong innovation goals, Oxford Nanopore is a UK headquartered company with global operations and customers in more than 125 countries.

Our world-class scientists and engineers are solving some of the most complex challenges on the planet, and they need a flawless, seamless technology experience to do their best work. As our IT Asset & Service Delivery Coordinator, you will be the custodian of the technology lifecycle that powers this discovery. Please note that this role is hybrid, based at our site in Oxford.

The Details…

This is not a traditional back-office registry job. You will own the end-to-end journey of our physical and digital assets—from the moment a cutting-edge device arrives at our facility to the software provisioning that enables a new starter's first day. Working closely with our IT Support, Systems Administration, and newly formed Supplier Management teams, you will act as the vital operational anchor of IT Service Delivery.

Role

We are deeply committed to the growth of our team members. This role is designed as a powerful springboard for your career in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). We provide dedicated support for your professional development, including:

  • Modern Enterprise Tool Mastery: Gain direct, hands-on administrative experience with industry-leading platforms including ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, and modern Hardware Asset Management (HAM) software.
  • Structured Mentorship: Receive close guidance and professional development coaching from our Director and senior technical specialists.
  • Clear Career Pathways: Build foundational skills in compliance, commercial negotiation, and operational strategy, positioning you for future growth into ITAM, SAM, or Supplier Management pathways.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
