Contract - IT Asset Specialist | Glasgow area | 3 month contract

Got a background in warehousing, stores or hands-on equipment audits - and comfortable around IT kit? This one's for you.

We're looking for an organised, hands-on IT Asset Specialist to lead a full physical audit and sort of legacy IT equipment as part of a site consolidation project in the Glasgow area.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out a full manual audit of IT hardware - workstations, peripherals, networking equipment
  • Logging every item into a central inventory database by serial number and spec
  • Categorising equipment: retain (move to another site), repurpose, or recycle/dispose
  • Working closely with the onsite team and project engineers to support decommissioning
  • Organising the physical movement of equipment and prepping it for transport or collection
  • Keeping detailed, error-free records throughout in Excel/Google Sheets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
