Roles & Responsibilities of an IT Assistant
Technical Support
- Help Desk Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for IT-related issues and inquiries. Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime for users.
- Installation and Configuration: Assist in the setup and configuration of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Network Management
- Basic Networking Support: Aid in the maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). This includes monitoring network performance and connectivity issues.
- User Account Management: Create, modify, and delete user accounts in various systems, ensuring appropriate permissions and access levels.
