A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Audit Specialist to join a public sector organisation, providing additional capacity to support audit teams during a particularly busy period.

Working to high professional standards, the role will involve delivering IT audit work in support of financial audits across a range of large and complex organisations. You will be responsible for assessing and testing automated controls, application controls, and IT General Controls (ITGCs) across a variety of technology environments, including ERP systems, Active Directory, and cloud-based platforms. The role will involve identifying and evaluating technology-related risks, documenting complex business processes and control environments, interpreting third-party assurance reports, and producing high-quality audit documentation for review. You will also be expected to communicate IT audit findings clearly, explain technical matters to non-technical colleagues, and maintain effective relationships with both audit teams and client stakeholders throughout audit engagements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
