This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Bid Manager / Technical Bid Lead to join a well-established organisation at a pivotal time in its journey. Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, the IT Bid Manager / Technical Bid Lead will play a critical role in the successful delivery of technology-focused tender responses. You will be responsible for shaping the technical aspects of bids, ensuring that technology solutions are clearly articulated, compelling, and aligned with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Bid Manager / Technical Bid Lead:

  • Review tender documents and extract all technology-related requirements
  • Lead the coordination and development of the technical components of bid submissions
  • Gather information on technology products, platforms, and services to support bid responses
  • Create compelling technical narratives that clearly communicate the organisation's technology capabilities and solutions
  • Work closely with Product, Platform, Architecture, and Technology teams to develop accurate and competitive responses
  • Engage with third-party suppliers and partners to obtain relevant technical content and supporting information
  • Ensure all technical bid deliverables are completed accurately, consistently, and within submission deadlines
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes, content libraries, and response quality

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in bid preparation, bid management, or proposal management within a technology-focused environment
  • Experience working within the transport, logistics or another similar industry
  • Strong ability to interpret tender requirements and translate technical information into clear, customer-focused bid content
