About the role:
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to support the delivery of technology change initiatives across the business. Working with stakeholders and technical teams, you will gather and document requirements, map business processes, support solution design, and help ensure successful project delivery.
This position requires an individual who is highly organised, analytical, and collaborative, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.
The role is based in our Northampton office with hybrid working arrangements of three days per week in the office and two days from home, if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements
- Create and maintain BPMN process maps
- Develop Personas, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions
- Support the design and delivery of IT solutions, particularly within Sage and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Review test cases and results to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Produce project documentation, status reports, and user sign-off materials
- Assist with testing, deployment, training, and business readiness activities

About you
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Business Analysis experience within technology change projects
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM), Field Service, and Customer Insights experience
- Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- BPMN process modelling expertise
- Proven experience writing requirements, User Stories, Epics, and Acceptance Criteria
- Testing experience, including creating and executing test cases
- Extensive stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation experience
- Ability to create business domain models and process diagrams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- UML modelling
- Test planning and management
- Systems integration and migration experience
- Jira or similar tools
- BCS Business Analysis certification or equivalent
- Project management experience
- Deployment planning experience
- Organisational design knowledge
- MS SQL querying skills
