Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst / Systems Designer to bridge business requirements and technical solutions. The successful candidate will analyse business processes, define system requirements, and work closely with technical teams to design effective and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyse existing systems, processes, and workflows.
- Create functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and system documentation.
- Design and recommend appropriate IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, project managers, and business users.
- Support system integration, testing, UAT, and implementation activities.
- Identify system gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Assist with change management and post-implementation support.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or systems design.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements gathering, and process modelling.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar is an advantage.
