Job Title: IT Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support a strategic communications and Business Continuity initiative within a global retail organisation.

Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, you will help design and implement unified communication capabilities, processes, and operating models that support business continuity and crisis management. Initial 2 month contract to start asap with potential extension for future phases. Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, design, and configuration activities for the pilot.
  • Define and document business and operational requirements.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of an communications platform designed to strengthen business continuity capabilities.
  • Design communication channels, escalation routes, governance processes, and operating procedures.
  • Support platform setup, access management, account provisioning, and onboarding activities.
  • Establish approaches for document storage, communications management, and user engagement.
  • Develop operating procedures and support models for business continuity scenarios.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across IT and business functions.
  • Coordinate pilot activities and support testing and validation exercises.
  • Help plan and execute simulation exercises.
  • Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for future production deployment.

Essential Experience

  • Proven Business Analysis experience delivering technology or operational change initiatives.
  • Experience mobilising or implementing collaboration and unified communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or similar solutions.
  • Strong process mapping and operating model design capabilities.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with light-touch governance.

Desirable Experience

  • Business continuity, operational resilience, or crisis management experience.
  • Experience supporting incident response, emergency communications, or major event management.
  • Familiarity with platform onboarding, user adoption, and training activities.
