Think you know DHL? Think again! We're not just about delivering parcels. DHL Supply Chain is the world's leading logistics company, and our IT function serves as the vital nerve centre, connecting the dots and transforming business needs into cutting-edge solutions on a global scale. Our IT professionals are more than just tech experts; they are strategic partners who drive meaningful change through standardisation, differentiation, and innovation.
We're looking for an IT Business Partner - Delivery to join the Aviation and Travel (A&T) IT team. In this role, you will be key in managing and implementing change in the IT landscape including supplier-led software development, system configuration and upgrades, accelerated digitalisation initiatives, and new site deployments.
What You'll Do
- Drive Performance: Working with key suppliers such as SITA, Airportlabs, INFORM, and DataScope primarily focusing on software implementation, supplier-led software development, system configuration and upgrades, accelerated digitalisation initiatives, and new site deployments.
- Innovate: Supporting the IT Leads for A&T as required in one-off initiatives and projects, including scoping project requirements, managing small to medium sized projects, and working with the IT Product Manager in bid responses.
- Reduce A&T's reliance on the central PIPD teams for smaller projects and ongoing changes. Many A&T IT products are unique to the sector, so central teams do not have the experienced resources to support these products.
- Coordinate Change programmes and strategic initiatives across all of A&T.
- Lead with Purpose: Managing a team of IT Specialists focused on achieving A&T's IT Self-Sufficiency aims. Including line managing two IT Systems Support.
- In this role, you'll work closely with the IT Product Manager and be supported by the IT Service & Support Manager.
- Ensure Compliance: The above work will include implementing products not in central IT product catalogue and therefore a hands-on approach at a very detailed level will be part of the role at times.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
