IT Business Partner

Quest Search and Selection is currently hiring an IT Business Partner, acts as the key link between the Operations business and the IT function, ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

They represent IT within the business and advocate for business requirements within IT, managing the end-to-end delivery of IT outcomes from initial scoping and defining change through to successful implementation.

This business is a logistics business that provides integrated logistics and supply chain services for both B2B and B2C customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and act as the main IT business partner.
  • Align business requirements with IT strategy and capabilities, representing IT in key business meetings.
  • Act as the primary contact for IT demand, identifying, prioritising, and managing current and future business requirements.
  • Develop business cases and ensure the IT project pipeline reflects business priorities.
  • Ensure IT services meet business needs, driving continuous service improvements through stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage third-party supplier relationships and oversee the seamless transition of new solutions into live operations.
  • Champion innovation, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives across the business.
  • Support the successful delivery of IT projects, business change, and realisation of expected business benefits.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required in line with business needs and role requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this IT Business Partner:

  • Ideally having experience as an IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager or IT Business Analysis with strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in large, multi-business organisations and partnering with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, and Agile methodologies (preferred).
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
