IT Business Solutions Manager
SW London
Up to £80,000 DOE + Bonus and outstanding benefits
The Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Solutions Manager to lead the design, delivery and evolution of data and analytics solutions across a multi-market environment. This is a business-facing technology role requiring someone who can combine strong technical data knowledge with commercial awareness, project delivery and excellent stakeholder management.
You will work across business and IT teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities, design scalable solutions and deliver projects that improve data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver data strategies and solutions across multiple markets.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Design and implement data solutions using modern cloud technologies.
- Assess existing data sources, platforms and processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, IT Security and other technical teams.
- Manage the delivery and evolution of analytical tools, ensuring data quality, integrity and accuracy.
- Lead projects involving system implementation, localisation, data migration and go-live.
- Support the rollout of centralised systems across multiple markets and locations.
- Manage application portfolios, including incidents, enhancements, maintenance, change requests and operational improvements.
- Manage third-party suppliers and external resources, ensuring agreed deliverables, service levels and contractual commitments are met.
- Manage project and operational budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support major incidents and ensure business impact, priorities and communication are effectively managed.
- Ensure projects and solutions meet appropriate governance, security, architecture and data standards.
- Identify opportunities to maximise the value of existing data and introduce new data sources where they can add business value.
- Work effectively with geographically distributed and remote teams.

Must-Have Experience
- Proven experience delivering data and analytics solutions within an IT environment.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, particularly with:
- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- Azure Data Lake / Lakehouse
- Azure PaaS
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data flows between systems and applications.
- Practical SQL experience.
- Experience with Python and/or PySpark.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps within data or technology environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI and/or Power Apps.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion, processing, analysis, visualisation and KPI management.
- Proven ability to analyse data from multiple sources and turn it into meaningful business insight.
- Strong experience managing and delivering technology/data projects from requirements through to implementation and go-live.
- Experience working across multiple teams, functions, locations or markets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing third-party technology suppliers and external resources.
- Experience with budget and contract management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience testing and validating data or analytical solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

You will need to be confident operating between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements and technical concepts into practical solutions. You should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Experience managing conflicting requirements and priorities.
- Strong presentation and data storytelling skills.
- The ability to build effective relationships across geographically dispersed teams.
- Confidence working with senior business and IT stakeholders.
- A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to remain calm and decisive when managing incidents or challenging projects.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- A genuine interest in using data and technology to solve business problems.
