Job Description
Do you want to be part of an IT department responsible for global and local IT infrastructure projects and support. We have an exciting new job opportunity in United Kingdom and are looking to hire an IT Business Technology Partner to our Manufacturing site in Milton Keynes
The IT Business Technology Partner is responsible for supporting the operation, planning and execution of the strategies related to IT infrastructure. They assure compliance with the applicable global and country regulatory requirements as well as global policies and standards pertaining to IT infrastructure. Through effective communications with local and global stakeholders, a translation of business needs will be conveyed to allow for a right-sized infrastructure.
The IT infrastructure comprises laptop/desktop, networks, security, servers and telephony throughout all business divisions within the market and on the site. Close cooperation with IT colleagues, as well as the business, will be required to deliver IT infrastructure capable to support the business needs. They will have full responsibility for IT infrastructure from demand, planning all the way through realization and service management of the infrastructure programs.
Main responsibilities
- Supporting global projects related to implementing and updating IT infrastructure at the Milton Keynes manufacturing site and across the Animal Health facilities within the United Kingdom
- Deliver support for complex issues related to the IT infrastructure at these sites
- Support and manage local projects related to IT infrastructure
- Cooperate with global and local support teams to ensure SLAs are met
- Improve customer experience
- Ensure the lifecycle of IT equipment is up to date
- Deliver standby support on rotation base
- Participating in global teams focused on global or regional IT improvements
- Champion the One IT Operating Model and applies the Model in daily work

Your Profile
Education: MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in working within an IT service framework (ITIL), throughout the service lifecycle.
- Proven experience in working in an IT-Infrastructure role
Skills:
- Relevant Microsoft and Cisco certifications
