Role Description
The IT CADCAM role is a full-time, on-site position based in Finchley. The individual in this role will manage and operate dental CADCAM systems to design and process crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant restorations. Daily tasks include receiving and interpreting digital impressions, creating accurate 3D designs, preparing files for milling or printing, and ensuring smooth integration with the lab’s digital workflow. The role involves maintaining CADCAM software and hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with dental technicians and clinicians to meet case specifications and deadlines. The IT CADCAM specialist will also assist in optimizing workflows, implementing updates, and supporting data management and backup processes to ensure secure and efficient operations.

- Candidates should possess experience with dental CADCAM systems, 3D design software, and digital impression workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong IT skills, including hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and data management.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, accuracy in digital design, and a commitment to quality and consistency in output.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with dental technicians and clinical teams.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Relevant experience in a dental laboratory or dental technology setting is beneficial.
- A qualification in dental technology, IT, or a related technical field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with dental materials (e.g., zirconia, metal ceramic) and digital manufacturing processes is an asset.
