IT Change Manager
Cammach are currently recruiting for an IT Change Manager on behalf of our client, a leading independent oil & gas company. Based in Aberdeen, this is a contract opportunity offering the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
Role
We are looking for an IT Change Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our continued growth across the UK and beyond. Working within our IT, Digital & Data function, you will lead the technology aspects of acquisitions, integrations, and business change initiatives, helping ensure that new assets, systems, and teams are successfully brought into the company environment.
This is a highly visible role, acting as the trusted technology partner throughout the M&A lifecycle. You will provide expert insight during due diligence activities, identify opportunities and risks, and develop practical integration strategies that deliver long-term value for the business.
Alongside supporting acquisitions, you will drive a programme of continuous improvement across the IT, Digital & Data function. From simplifying processes and improving ways of working to optimising application roadmaps and addressing legacy challenges, you will help ensure our technology landscape remains efficient, secure, and fit for the future.

Responsibilities
We're seeking an experienced technology leader who can successfully manage complex change, influence stakeholders, and deliver tangible business outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Leadership & Responsibilities
- Lead technology due diligence, integration, and change activities associated with acquisitions and business growth initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on technology risks, opportunities, and integration strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement programmes that enhance service delivery, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Influence and coordinate stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and external partners.
- Champion structured change management, ensuring successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and service partners to achieve high-quality outcomes and value for money.

Requirements
- Proven experience leading IT change, transformation, integration, or business improvement programmes.
- Strong programme or project management capability, supported by recognised qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience applying change management principles to deliver successful organisational and technology change.
- Knowledge of IT service management best practice and technology roadmap or application portfolio management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams.
- Experience within the energy sector or another regulated, asset-intensive industry would be advantageous.
